Yup that’s right, I nominate myself, Jacquelyn Aina of Buckingham Palace as your global ambassador on biotin. Okay just kidding but seriously I don’t know what took me so long to start taking biotin again. The last time I went natural in 2009-2010 I took biotin consistently and saw a tremendous amount of hair growth! I guess vitamins and supplements can get kind of expensive so I just stopped. I am going to keep it up this time around.
Promotes healthy hair
Helps strengthen brittle nails
Helps aid the metabolic process
Aids in glucose production
*many other findings that aren’t scientifically proven, but who cares what they think anyway?! (just kidding)
But FIRST I must say this *ahem* biotin does NOT make your hair grow faster! I don’t believe there’s one miracle hair growth product out there, don’t fall for the hype. Biotin PROMOTES healthy hair growth. A biotin deficiency can lead to hair loss or thinning of the hair. Even if you aren’t deficient of biotin it could be that it just helps illuminate factors that could be otherwise slowing down hair growth. This is what I’ve concluded based on my personal research. Same thing with nails; the reason why my nails have been staying so long and growing because they are stronger, which gives me them a higher chance of staying on my hands longer instead of breaking and chipping off.
By the way, be weary of synthetic supplements! Some supplements out there don’t actually contain the benefits that claim they do. The biotin I’ve been using (actually all of my vitamins including Omega 3 Fish Oil) is from Nature Made. Hope you guys get a chance to try it out and experience the same success I have!
Just wanted to share my success story to you guys if you weren’t already aware of this awesomely inexpensive supplement that’s got many benefits and available at the tip of our fingers! Enjoy!
As many of you may already know, October is breast cancer awareness month. Japonesque has done something really unique to help support it.
Introducing the Japonesque pink collection. For every product purchased Japonesque will donate $1 towards Breast Cancer Awareness Research. Check out these super cute little kits they’ve put together.
So I LOVE the idea of the mini brow kit. It comes with two powder brow shades, and a sealing wax and mini brow brush. I almost feel like the powders can double up as eyeshadows! It also comes with tweezers, brow stencils, and a brow setting gel.
But the reason why I thought you guys would dig this kit is for my ladies that don’t really wear a lot of makeup, but keep themselves well groomed, I think you will like this kit. I always feel like if I’m going to go sans makeup the least I can do is properly groom my brows. I know a lot of other ladies probably feel that way too. Would be a great thing to carry in my purse too in case I have brow slip-ups or need a quick fix.
So obviously I won’t get much use out of a heated eyelash curler with my Shirley Temple lashes, but I am definitely intrigued by it, being that I SUCK epically at using traditional eyelash curlers, I’m curious to see how this works with synthetic lashes…It’s battery powered so I’m assuming it won’t get very hot.
The Touch-Up Tube is adorable, I see myself getting more use out of just the larger powder brush. I tend to leave the rest of my face alone throughout the day.
So what do you think about the new collection and if you had to pick one a favorite which would you choose? I’m curious to know what stands out to you guys the most. Either way I think all women should support the cause either via brands such as Japonesque, your favorite charity, or simply by getting checked frequently! Something I have been slacking on massively. My mom is an x-ray tech and specializes in mammograms so I should be the poster child for stuff like this. Shame on me! Let me know what you guys think about the collection!
THIS was a collaborative effort! And it’s always fun to combine efforts with other ladies (and sometimes gents) on YouTube because they bring things to the table that perhaps you may not have thought of on your own. And let’s be real, it’s just downright fun supporting one another!

Since I never really formally announced, for those that don’t know I am currently on holiday in Santorini, Greece. It’s my first time visiting Greece and Santorini, is just…I can’t even describe in words how breathtaking this place is.
I am taking advantage of the beautiful backdrops and amazing weather here and showing you guys some of the stuff I’ve been rocking day to day. This afternoon I went for coral as I enjoyed lunch in Oia, a small town where Santorini is most known for and probably most recognized in photos.
What I wore: Body Con Coral Minidress with mesh | Club L from ASOS.com
White Clutch with silver detail | H&M Colorblock Wedges | Gojane.com
Gold-plated choker | H&M Rose Gold Diamond Ring | Forever 21
Please enjoy some of the other photos of Santorini taken today :-*
Hope you all are having a fabulous weekend and I can’t wait to show you guys the rest of the pics from my trip :-*
The best part about being a makeup artist and doing what I do on YouTube isn’t cool articles like these, but just being liked period. I always said as long as I’ve got one happy subscriber I’ll keep doing what I’m doing
